Politics is one of five things that makes me angry – none of which am I going to list here today. They say when a creator is in a rut, to find something that riles them up and run with it.
Actually, I’ve cooled down a lot since I decided to write this post, but, hey, here it is.
Politics seems to be mainly a bunch of people who like to hear their own voices bitch about everyone else in politics whether it’s the President or the janitor. No one seems to have any sort of platform, they just blindly follow whatever the head person says.
Politicians seems to be as clueless as little baby birds still learning how to fly. In point of fact, the majority of all politicians have never held a real job for any length of time. I have had the unfortunate luck to have met with quite a few politicians and newspersons in my short lifetime… these people do little more than fluff themselves up. A simple question like asking what they may think of green energy turns into a 30 minute explanation about how votes turn into getting more information about… if I did not have a paper to do, I wouldn’t be here so stop wasting my time.
My parental units raised my siblings and I listening to people like Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck. Constantly. They ran their own small business.
But, I formed my own political opinions. I have some views that are incredibly Liberal, I have some that are very Conservative. Can you imagine the arguments?
As a rule, I do not talk about politics. However, I witnessed much hostility on social media. I witnessed people being cussed at (and worse) on social media and in the workplace or classroom because they said something negative about a Liberal or Barack Obama. Once, I made the mistake of speaking up in one of my classes about how I disagreed with some bill or other that had been passed during Obama’s first term as President: I was shut down and shunned by teachers and other students until something came up of his that I was verbal about that I agreed with.
Now, Trump is our President.
Something I like? No.
Now, am I going to go through my Facebook and delete everyone I know that shows even the slightest inclination of agreeing with Trump? F***, no!
Am I going to go running through the streets, shouting that he is MOST CERTAINLY NOT MY PRESIDENT? No.
He may have lost the popular vote, but there is a reason for that. He may not be the coolest guy ever because, yes, he does act like an arsehole.
But, I am sorry to say this, Obama screwed up our foreign policy. Like, he f***ed up majorly. Anyone and everyone could and probably will attack us and we will have zero allies and zero defense. If anything, having Trump around will keep our government from screwing us over any worse.
I am just so tired of having everything blamed on conservatives. And I am not even a conservative. I HATE politics and I’m sick of this b***sh**. I am sick and tired of conservatives blaming everything on liberals. KNOCK IT OFF AND TAKE SOME GODDAMN RESPONSIBILITY.
There was a conversation I have seen repeated time and time again about how unfair it is that there is both a conservative House and Senate, but, also, a Conservative President.
So… there’s a problem when two branches of government are controlled by one party?
What do you call the last eight years?
Or… well, lets be honest, here… Bush was essentially a Liberal… so… 16 years… oh, wait! Bill was before that with a liberal-dominated House and Senate….
Now, I’m not good at math….
So, I am just going to leave that there.
Don’t hate me.
